Dr. Baral is a nationally recognized physician and speaker on Integrative and Naturopathic medicine. He received his Naturopathic doctorate (ND) degree from Seattle’s Bastyr University in 2000. He is Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona where he has been supervising medical students and teaching pediatric medicine for the past thirteen years. Dr. Baral designed the first Naturopathic Pediatric Residency training program and serves as its Director. His private practice focuses on primary pediatric care and autism and has published three research studies on heavy metal toxicity and autism. Dr. Baral also co-authored the first two books on pediatric integrative medicine: Integrative Medicine for Children and Integrative Pediatrics. He serves as the pediatric contributing editor to the Natural Medicine Journal and the International J ournal of Naturopathic Medicine, and is the Founder and current President of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. His talks blend current topics with biology, physiology, evolution and spirituality.
