By way of breath, Jonny brings a beautiful balance of intensity and grace to each therapeutic class where he encourages the student to 'get out of their own way' and allow one's own healing powers to inspire each practice. For more information check out Jonny's Center for Yoga.

Tell us about your experience in India, we hear you went at a young age.

My father pulled me out of school at the age of 16 and we spent three months traveling through India visiting Saints and Sages. When I returned home I began to see humanity in a different light. I was forever changed.

What draws you to practice and teach vinyasa yoga?

It is through breath and movement that we may access the doorway to real self transformation. Vinyasa at its core means "flow" and there is no greater lesson...everything is impermanent – ebbing & flowing.

What mantra do you most recommend?

You are exactly where you are supposed to be

What is the most compromising/precarious place you've ever done yoga?

Handstand on an airplane, 30 thousand feet up.

Tell us your favorite yoga pose!

Sukasana – meditation pose.

What is one thing that we (and everyone else) don't know about you?

I love to kayak.

Thank you for your time Jonny! We look forward to seeing you at Wanderlust California!
