YogaSlackers: First Experience Review

Posted by Hannah Bechard on 7/31/11 in Uncategorized

It's natural to feel a little hesitant to try something new. Slacklining requires total centeredness, and precise alignment. Balancing on a 1 inch of nylon webbing appears effortless to the friendly yogaslackers I met: Sam, David and 'Flip'. Each yogaslacker took the time necessary to ensure each brave participant, could really get the most out of their attempts. This kind of attention takes a lot of time and patience, and these guys were plugging some serious hours. Not only did these folks keep us from breaking our necks, they confidently explained the technique ensuring that each incomer could focus and visualize success. This was a great place to hang out, and start playing.
