WLCO: Simply Spectacular Fourth of July

Posted by Guest Scribe on 7/5/13 in Community

1834 The bliss that is Wanderlust Colorado kicked off at the base of Copper Mountain Thursday at dusk. Down by the beach, Rue Boheme came to life with dancers twirling fire, spinning scarves, and floating on water moving to bass-filled beats and violin medleys for a crowd of blissed-out yogis.

1835 Children waving sparklers and dressed in red, white, and blue reminded us that the inaugural day of Wanderlust Colorado wasn't the only spectacular thing to be celebrated. We are also  celebrating Independence Day!

1833 It's the pure love of yoga and travel that brought hundreds of yogis from across the continent together under the mountain twilight sky to celebrate. And once the Quixotic dancers were done a truly spectacular show, the ladies lead the crowd to wander... To the the Greatest Place where MC Yogi lit up the stage and got everyone moving to his sweet beats to close off a spectacular Fourth of July.

1836 Happy 237th Birthday to the US of A & happy first day Colorado Wanderlusters!
