Having taken full advantage of the many amazing classes so far at Wanderlust, my body is tired. I'm energized and inspired, but I'm also dealing with really sore muscles. With an afternoon rain shower in full effect, I decided restorative yoga was exactly what I needed. Honestly, it was the only thing I could handle!
Dozens of yogis ran through the rain and into the lodge at the base of the mountain for our class with Cindy Lee. The weather provided the perfect ambience for the class called "Breathe, Stretch, Sit, Relax".
Using our mats as props, we gently stretched, practiced pranayama exercises and meditated while listening to a very relaxing playlist. It was a beautiful way to wind down a long day, and now, I feel ready to take on whatever the rest of this experience has to bring.
