Posted by on 5/24/11 in Uncategorized

What could possibly make the world's most exciting, fun, and cutting edge yoga and music festival more delicious? How about a locally-sourced Farm To Table Dinner, a fresh onsite local Farmers' Market, and popping a couple bottles of sustainably farmed vino by the fire pit after sunset? Wanderlust 2011 will offer all that and more -- check out the details below. Before you do, we've got some particularly tasty music for you to check out -- an exclusive, brand new download from ambient bassist and Wanderlust alum Garth Stevenson.

We're thrilled to announce the first release on our newly founded label, Wanderlust Records. Garth Stevenson, will release his new CD Flying on June 14, 2011 through iTunes and his website. Rooted in Garth's unique, atmospheric approach to bowed bass, the layered tracks also include minimalist piano, vocals and earthy percussion. Flying is packaged in beautiful handmade cases from Nepal. Garth was raised in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, and nature inspires both his life and music. He regularly carries his 150-year-old bass to the woods, the beach, the desert, and most recently to Antarctica, where the beautiful video for the title track was filmed. Garth will perform at Wanderlust Vermont and California in 2011, both during yoga classes and during the morning meditation hikes he leads. Download a free MP3 of the title track here and pre-order the record here.

"Garth's music timelessly traverses through our bodies, hearts, minds, and back again." – Elena Brower
