See with your heart: #WLChile teacher Figue Diel
We were happy to announce that Figue Diel joined the Wanderlust Chile teaching lineup for a variety of reasons: he's a well-loved yoga teacher, a world-class surfer, and he continues to do both despite the fact that a car accident left him blind when he was 16 years old.
Figue not only continues to teach yoga, but also pursues martial arts and rock climbing. He's an incarnate example of someone who is following his passion for the outdoors and for connecting to people without regard for the obstacle placed in his path.
"The main point of the practice of yoga," says Figue, "is that people respect the condition they are living. People must have or ahimsa (non-violence) with themselves. Everyone should know how far you can go and have compassion with yourself. "

A worthwhile lesson for us all.
